When sleep won't come
Trying to sleep can push sleep away. There is nothing to achieve here; only sounds that keep you company as you slow down.
A slow binaural pulse in the delta range (2 Hz): 110 Hz in the left ear, 112 Hz in the right. The sound of Before Sleep in the app.
Use headphones and start at a low volume. This short sample is just a taste; the sounds in the app are longer and layered.

Questions
Do sleep sounds really work?
Not the same for everyone. Research suggests nature sounds and slow rhythms can go along with relaxation for some people. The best guide is your own ear.
Do I need headphones?
For the binaural sample, yes: each ear needs a slightly different tone. Nature sounds are lovely on speakers too.
Is it free?
Breathing exercises and daily practices are always free.
If sleep doesn't come tonight, that's okay too. Your breath is right here.
